The first two years are the most important years in a child's life as it is when babies rapidly develop and progress not just in physical size, but in how they relate to the people and the world around them.

Our nursery program is focused on establishing warm, safe and trusting relationships with our educators.

Our nursery program is focused on establishing warm, safe and trusting relationships with our educators.

At The Earlier the Better we recognise and uphold the importance of a secure attachment style and developing strong emotional bonds with those who look after us; it is by consolidating this base of emotional trust infants will feel secure and thrive in their learning environment.  Our nursery room provides a calm environment responsive to your child’s needs where they will be nurtured through around the clock.

Our toddler program sets activities that recognise and complement how children between 2-3 years old want to move, talk, and begin to choose and participate in group settings. For this age group clear and consistent routines help toddlers understand what comes next in their day, which supports confidence and emotional security.

As children progress from babies into toddlers they begin to understand the flow of the day, what they like and don't like and learn how to be part of a group. Our educators are there to positively guide and role model when children communicate, express emotions, test their growing independence and understand the world around them.

A child’s preschool years are a time of confidence building, growing independence and establishing basic reading and writing skills. Here at the Earlier The Better we create a balanced experience where learning is intentional and engaging . With consistent routines, different range of activities everyday and strong child-to-educator relationships we aim to help children discover and be proud of their strengths as they move into big school.

In the classroom our preschoolers are encouraged to ask questions where their curiosity is abetted and share interests which lead additional learning. What is it that they are interested in? Why and how so? Where could the learning from this current interest takes us next?

In additional to foundational academic skills we introduce self care skills with high expectations such as managing personal belongings, social interaction awareness and  healthy communication skills with our caregivers and peers.
